2011 Chevrolet Cruze Eco With 6M Rated 28/42 MPG, Priced at $18,895
 

Chevrolet has announced that the 2011 Cruze Eco will get 28/42 mpg city/highway with a six-speed manual transmission. Those numbers drop to 26/37 mpg if you choose the Cruze Eco with the six-speed automatic transmission, though those figures are still near the top of the compact sedan class -- for now. With the manual transmission, the Eco will cost $18,895 when it goes on sale in January, or $1900 more than a base Cruze.
