I do not think the car has been postponed. It has always been scheduled for production in mid 2010 as a 2011 MY. They have canceled the construction of a new engine factory. They will use space within one of their US engine factories. I do not remember which one. I heard that production in NA will begin with engines from Belgium.

I only hope the 1.4 turbo will get DI and delivers 150 HP and 40 miles/ US gallon. Then it would probably be my next car...There is still hope...:D
