First Place to give away Cruze Saturday in Warren
WARREN, Ohio- One lucky person will Cruze away with a new car at an event in downtown Warren next weekend.
Jim Graham, president of the United Auto Workers Local 1112 said a new Chevrolet Cruze will be given away Saturday night as part of a celebration of the new vehicle.
"We're going to have a tribute band to the Beach Boys and the Beatles. We're going to unveil the Cruze. First Place Bank is going to give the Cruze away. We're going to have a car show in the afternoon. Packard Museum is holding a show in the morning. If the weather cooperates, we'll have 12,000 people down there, which is great," Graham said.
General Motors' Lordstown plant is expected to produce 300 Cruzes in July, 3,000 next month and be up to full production by September.
